Hebei Province Production Process Automation Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center
In 2000, the school set up the production process automation experimental teaching center by integrating the automated laboratory, electrical laboratory measurement and control laboratory. This center is managed by the university and school levels. At the same year, Hebei University of Science and Technology made it as key laboratories in the school. In 2006, it was named as the provincial experimental teaching demonstration center.
There are 4000 square meters in the central experimental space area. It has experiment teaching staff of 11 people, equipment with a total investment of 14.24 million yuan. 1202 pieces experimental equipments meet the requirements of modern experimental teaching. Complex industrial process control systems, motor bench, automation training platform, the PLC logistics test system and other 86 pieces scientific equipments are all come from this center. It composes sever series of experimental teaching materials. There are more than 40 courses in experimental teaching, lots of production practice and other teaching task in the center. We think highly of integrated use of the basic techniques and basic methods of training. At the same time, we strengthen the basic skills. The synthesis experiments, designed experiments and innovative experiments are account for 90.7％ over here. What’s more, it is opening up to the outside world.
This center has formed own experimental teaching characteristics by thirty years of experimental teaching reform and practice. We train talents with innovative application by laying the foundation, broadening the professional knowledge, strengthening the practice. We focus on the comprehensive experiment, explore the school foreign minister combination production practice mode, adhere to the teachers and students participating in the experiment teaching. This center is open to the school and society, supports the students to take part in the scientific and technological innovation activities under the tutor's guidance.
