Introduction to Hebei Province Production Process Automation Engineering Technology Research Center
In 1998, the production process automation engineering technology research center was set up. In 2000, Hebei University of Science and Technology made it as key laboratories in the school. In 2005, it was named as the provincial experimental technology research center. In 2009, it was the excellent engineering technology research center in province. Dai Ruwei is the director of center technical committee, who is Chinese Academy of Science, chairman of the Chinese Association of Automation. Prof. Wu Xueli is the director of this center.
This center mainly engaged in the fields process parameters detection and intelligent control technology, information fusion and new sensor technology, complex systems control theory and applications, electrical equipment and information processing technology.
In recent years, this center has got one army and technology progress award and 12 provincial science and technology progress awards. It bears more than 50 national and provincial research projects research funding of 35 million yuan which creates 859 million yuan economic benefits.
This center is related to many leading industries in Hebei province, including chemical and pharmaceutical, iron and steel metallurgy, equipment manufacturing.
