The School of Electrical Engineering held the 2024 Academic Atmosphere Commendation Conference and the Ceremony for the Appointment of Professional Class Advisors.
To honor the advanced, effectively promote the academic atmosphere construction of the college, and cultivate students' innovative consciousness, on the afternoon of December 26th, the School of Electrical Engineering held the 2024 Academic Atmosphere Commendation Conference and Professional Class Teacher Appointment Ceremony in Lecture Hall 202 of the Lecture Hall Clustr.
The meeting kicked off with the solemn national anthem. The leaders and teachers present awarded certificates and prizes to 19 groups and 100 students who had outstanding performances in academic achievements, "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" competitions, and other areas. Lu Hanbing, the recipient of the National Scholarship, Zhao Hexiang, the advanced individual in scientific and technological innovation, and Zhang Wenhao, the recipient of the "Hollysys" Professional Dedication Scholarship, successively delivered speeches, sharing their experiences and insights in learning, scientific and technological innovation, internships, and other aspects. At the meeting, the appointment ceremony for the professional class advisors of the 2024 grade was also held. In his concluding remarks, Zhou Lei, the dean of the college, emphasized that the construction of an academic atmosphere is a long and arduous task. All teachers in the college should attach great importance to it, form a united force for education, and integrate the educational function throughout the entire process of students' learning and development. Professional class advisors should apply what they have learned, actively guide students to participate in various scientific and technological innovation activities. All students should master learning methods and strive to become talented individuals during their college years.
This event is an important measure taken by the School of Electrical Engineering to strictly enforce the construction of academic atmosphere, which has further stimulated students' enthusiasm for learning, created a good learning atmosphere and laid a solid foundation for the school's academic atmosphere construction work.
